Sadhbh loves to sneak into small spaces and snoop around for fun things to play with. She is a big fan of going into the guest wash room closing the door and sitting on Tadhg's step! Her favourite place to get into is the coat closet with it's treasure of shoes, umbrellas and other paraphernalia. The most prized treasure though is the plunger. Sadhbh squeals with delight when she finds it and she wanders around the house proudly waving it in the air and slamming it into the ground.
Saturday turned out to be a busy day for Tadhg and Sadhbh. In the morning they went to a summer bar-b-q organised by a local church. Mom and dad hadn't been there before but thought the kids would like the bouncy castle, activities, games and food. It was fun but they couldn't stay too long as they had an appointment at baba and papa's house for a family photo shoot. Everyone got dressed up for the photo shoot and Sadhbh looked like a real little girl in her dress and hat while Tadhg looked very handsome in his white button down shirt and slacks. The photographers wanted lots of different poses and positions which is not always so easy with young kids.
After the photo shoot there was no time to rest as the whole family had to attend mom's cousin Adam's wedding reception. Luckily there was no need to get changed as the kid's were already in their Sunday best.
Tadhg and Sadhbh were excited to be at the wedding and meeting so many people. Tadhg enjoyed showing off his dance class moves to the wedding music. After a long day everyone was glad to get home to rest and finally bed.
Tadhg's summer soccer season is in full swing. Dad is his soccer coach once again and loves training with all the kids. Tadhg's team is much better this year due to some smart transfers in the off season. After practice on Saturday's Tadhg and dad usually have tea and a treat in Tim Hortons. However, on this Saturday the weather was so nice they decided to go straight home and have some chocolate ice cream cones on their garden swing. The joys of summer!
Sadhbh is getting into everything now and hasn't looked back since she started walking. On Saturday she hopped into a cardboard box and demanded to be "driven" around the kitchen. She's tiny enough to fit into small spaces but loud enough to make her wishes heard!
Sadhbh has recently switch to solid foods and loves it! She is a big fan of pasta and berries (not a typical combination). Despite her small size, Sadhbh is a great eater and especially so when the food is on someone else's plate!
