Sadhbh's teeth

Sadhbh has grown a fine mouth full of teeth and loves to show them off with her beautiful smile. Mom knows how important dental hygiene is so has started to brush Sadhbh's pearly whites. Sadhbh enjoys sucking on her toothbrush and paste.

Sadhbh's first birthday party

Sadhbh celebrated her first official birthday party on Sunday. Mom and dad transformed the house into a 1 year old party zone and all of Sadhbh's Canadian family and friends came over to celebrate. Mom had commissioned a special 1st birthday cake with Sadhbh's smiling face which everyone loved. Mom had also organised special packs of birthday M&M's with Sadhbh's face on them. These proved very popular!

Sadhbh was happy to have everyone over and looked like a little angel in her pink tutu and her special birthday bib (Ms. Onederful!).

When the cake was brought out Sadhbh was keen to stick her fingers in it and needed help from her big brother to blow it out. She was a bit overwhelmed when present opening time arrived but Tadhg was keen to show her how to rip open presents. It will take a while for Sadhbh to get used to her new wardrobe and toys. It was a great day to celebrate Sadhbh's first milestone.

Sadhbh`s first birthday!!

Friday was Sadhbh's first birthday. Mom and dad had a mini celebration by themselves the night before to remember the night a year previously when Sadhbh arrived into the world somewhat unexpectedly (and very quickly!). Sadhbh's big celebration was planned for the weekend but the family planned a smaller celebration to mark Sadhbh's actual birthday in Tadhg's favourite restaurant, Montana's.

Baba, Papa, Auntie Kay and Uncle Mitch joined in the party to make it a family affair. Sadhbh was happy to sit on Baba's lap and take in the birthday congratulations from her close family.

As per the Montana's tradition all the waiting staff came over to give Sadhbh the birthday hat and sing the special Montana's birthday song. The hat was way too big for Sadhbh's little head but she seemed to enjoy the song and she enjoyed being with her family on this special day.

Sadhbh can crawl!!

After months of trying to stand, rolling around and almost getting out of the starting blocks, Sadhbh can crawl! Mom and dad thought she might go straight to walking as she seemed more interested in getting up on her feet than crawling on hands and knees. Sadhbh has an usual crawl where she pushes herself along on one foot and slides the other one underneath her. Everyone is excited to see their little girl mobile. Mom was so excited that she posted a video to YouTube.

Tadhg and Sadhbh hunt eggs

On this Easter Sunday the Easter bunny visited Auntie Kay's house and hid lots of Easter eggs for the kids to find. Tadhg and Sadhbh packed their Easter baskets and made their way to Auntie Kay's house to meet up with their cousins for the big hunt. Tadhg really enjoyed chasing around the house and garden looking for eggs. Sadhbh was happy to wander around the house with her cousins.

After the excitement of the egg hunt Sadhbh needed a nap to recover. While Sadhbh rested Tadhg tried on the beads and cowboy hat that Auntie Kay had brought back from her trip to New Orleans. Tadhg had a great time dressing up and everyone enjoyed another Easter in Canada.
