On Halloween night Tadhg went to a Halloween party at his friend Ava's house. Tadhg turned into Spiderman for the night and looked very super heroish in his beefed up outfit. Tadhg had great fun at the party trying all the Halloween treats and making lots of new friends.
Halloween Sunday was a bright, crisp day so Tadhg, mom and dad got up early and made a trip to the zoo. Tadhg hadn't been to the zoo in a long time so was very excited about the trip. He wanted to see the Gorillas exhibit as there was a new baby gorilla to see. When they arrived it was too early to see the gorillas as they were still sleeping so they went to the big cats exhibit instead and saw the lions and tigers having their breakfast.
On Tuesday the post lady left a note for Tadhg to say that a package was waiting for him at the post office. Tadhg loves getting packages in the post and was very excited wondering what it could be. When he finally got to the post office and picked up his package it turned out to be a birthday gift from Auntie Kay and Uncle Mitch. It took a long time to make the trip from Canada to Prague which made it seem like a whole new birthday! 
'Twas Saturday morn, the week before Halloween when Tadhg, mom and dad searched their local shops for a big pumpkin to carve into a jack-0-lantern. After rejecting a few smaller pumpkins they finally found the perfect one for their Halloween jack-o-lantern. Mom is the expect pumpkin carver, so Tadhg and dad looked on as she got to work. Once the top was off, Tadhg got his hands dirty pulling out the insides.
When the carving was finished Tadhg was very happy with his very own jack-o-lantern, especially when he had a candle inside. Mom and dad hope he will last until Halloween!
Tadhg's favourite toy is his blue bear which has kept him company every night practically since he was born. Recently Tadhg has identified an entire family unit for blue bear with "big blue bear" as the daddy and "pink rabbit" as the mommy. On Sunday, Tadhg set the blue bear family up in his chair for a family portrait. They all looked very happy.
Tadhg got a new winter coat as a birthday present from his grandma and grandpa. Tadhg decided that going to school on Tuesday was the perfect time to try it out for the first time. He looked very smart going into school and brought his football to make sure he didn't miss out on football practice between home and the school!
The temperature has plummeted in Prague over the last week so Tadhg has had to wrap up warm for his journey to and from school. Luckily it's a perfect time to try out the new hat, scarf and glove set his grandparents sent for his birthday. Tadhg loves the hat and scarf which fit perfectly but strangely the gloves are way too big!
Tadhg loves getting involved when dad has a shave in the mornings. This usually involves a puddle of water on the ground and a change of clothes! Mom and dad got Tadhg his very own junior shaving set and Tadhg tried it our for the first time during his bath on Saturday. Tadhg had a great technique for his first shave and had a great time wiping the "shaving cream" off his face. Afterwards his cheek was as smooth as a baby's bum!
On Saturday Tadhg hosted his "official" 3rd birthday party in the little gym. Tadhg loves going to the gym every Saturday morning for his weekly gymnastic workout but this Saturday Tadhg had a special birthday workout! Lots of Tadhg's friends joined in the birthday fun and enjoyed all the singing, dancing, running and tumbling.
After the kid's were drained from their playtime, they were stocked up again on birthday cake and juices! Tadhg had yet another candle to blow out and is getting very used to singing "Happy Birthday to Tadhg"!
