Tadhg, mom and dad had planned a trip to Ireland for the last weekend in January so Tadhg could see his Irish family for the first time in 2010. On the Wednesday night before the trip, Tadhg began throwing up over night but seemed better in the morning so went to school as normal. Soon after Tadhg was dropped off at school, the teacher called to say he had thrown up, so mom rushed down to pick him up. After a visit to the doctor, Tadhg was diagnosed with a tummy bug and it would take 5 days for Tadhg to recover. Mom and dad made the difficult decision to cancel their trip to Ireland. It was sad that Tadhg would miss seeing his Irish family, but he needed a lot of R&R to get over his bug. Tadhg, mom and dad spent the weekend relaxing at home where Tadhg received lot's of TLC.
